EMERGING FROM THE ASHES
Part 1
Thursday May 17th, AD2007
In the final moments of the documentary 'Millennium Money' the narrator summarizes the last two hours with these words; "over six thousand years of recorded human history have painted a grim but provocative picture; the civilizations that have risen and fallen tell the age old story, that when the time proven principles of sound money and economics are abandoned in favor of valueless currency, uncontrolled spending and crippling debt, without exception, the civilization and its unsuspecting people have always pay the full price. But from the ashes and ruins emerges a new age ruled by those who were prepared, a golden era, a new millennium"
In our recent Joseph Wealth Seminar tour in New Zealand and Australia, I lectured on the Seven Stages of the Life Cycle of Money. Why? I attempted to explain to my audiences that to create and preserve wealth we need to first understand money. It's by understanding the repetitive cycle of money we can identify where in that cycle we are living.
We are often asked where are we in the seven stages of the life cycle of money? Our answer; somewhere between the end of (5) 'Debasement of Money' and (7) 'Re-emergence of Gold & Silver and Free Market Money'. But this reemergence of free market money is not always simple sailing, but is rather fraught with challenges, setbacks and pitfalls. More in the days ahead.
