In 1997 in partnership with an Australian based bullion coin and educational operation (more at Australia Fair history), the company issued a unique series of bullion “Inspirational Biblical Hero Coins”. In the late 1990s AFE more formally launched its bullion custodial and account operations to meet a growing demand for a stable gold backed custodial facility that could provide maximum client privacy, with the distinct advantage of being administered by experienced leadership, with strict internal and external corporate governance. Today, as from inception, AFE is privately owned, and debt free.
In late 1998 Simon Heapes and Philip Judge came in contact, which lead to a formidable partnership based on shared ideals and business objectives. Simon joined AFE in 2002 and today the two men enjoy a strong and rewarding business partnership.
